The hurricane has passed by. It hit us on Thursday as a tiny category 1 hurricane. We sat outside the front door and laughed at it, and even considered going out for dinner in the midsts of it all... I think we may have offended it. Yes, Katrina is now a bristling Category 5 hurricane nearly the size of the gulf of Mexico and rapidly approaching different U.S. coastline where forced evecuations are going on right now as I type.
