Emily is the product of an over-achieving 
mother who constantly pushes her to 
succeed academically.  Emily IS very 
bright, but her mother has pushed her to 
such a degree that Emily hasn’t really 
done much but study her whole life to 
follow her mother’s dream.  As a result, 
she hasn’t really discovered any dreams 
of her own.  After being accepted into 
Harvard, Rumisiel accidentally erases 
the last two years of her life, forcing 
Emily to re-examine why she was going to 
Harvard in the first place.
