Chris:
Today's page is a guest page drawn by
the nice people over at "The
Wotch". Go read their comic! Also, we have our
own guest page over there, so go read that too. Normal updates
will resume on Monday. That being said, now on to our new
feature:
Why we hate Comcast: The next
chapter.
So, our cable AND internet service
went out the other day. Ok, it happens. Not a big
problem. So we called Comcast, waited on hold for 15 minutes,
and were told there was an outage and it was being dealt with and
they could not tell us when it would be fixed. Fast forward 12
hours. We still have no service. I call again.
There are SO many people on hold that I get hung up on because
there's no room on hold. I call again. I wait on hold
for 20 minutes. This time the guys tells me he's not aware of
any outage. Not only that, he's not aware of yesterday's
outage, or my call (apparently they don't keep any records or update
the staff on CITY WIDE OUTAGES). So he logs a call, and says
it must be on our end, which we know it isn't, and says we have to
wait at home for a repairman to come and tell us that he can't help
us, because we know the problem isn't on our end. What window
are we given? Oh, we have to be home between 9:00 am and 7:00
pm. A ten hour window for a problem we know damn well isn't on
our end that we have to sit around with no TV or internet to have a
repairman tell us. So, after a few more hours during which we
haven't been able to do anything, service mysteriously
restarts. We call Comcast, who tells us (surprise of
surprises) that the problem was on their end. Not only that,
but they figured this out MINUTES after our last call and cancelled
the repair appointment, but didn't bother to tell us, leaving us to
sit around all day for a repairman who wasn't even scheduled to
come. Unfortunately, we can't choose cable providers, but if
you can in your area, remember: "FRIENDS DON'T LET
FRIENDS CHOOSE COMCAST".
MISFILE TO BE PUBLISHED BY EIGOMANGA!
Have a good read.

Wow!
Lots and lots of e-mails. Thank you to everyone. We are
still working on it. What we really need for Misfile is a new
web design. The last one did not pan out. Help us!
In other
news, I am going to start another webcomic. Actually, sorta
starting a webcomic promotion community. So you if are an artist,
and you think you want to do a comic, I have several writers who
want an artist. With the right hook up, and me promoting the
comic (like I do with B12 and Misfile) it would be great!
Also,
this is the 1st time we did a cross over. Go show your support
and see the Misfile page at The
Wotch. I would link it here, but there is a link in
Chris's rant, as well as the ad (its up there over on the right)!
THANKS
FOR YOUR SUPPORT!!!
Keep the
votes coming!
Smiles!
