Dear Ash:
You had a question asking if "when racers race or practice on the mountain, are other drivers in any danger?"

Don't mountain racers who use "live" streets normally use two-way radios to know when there are dangers on the road, since you'd have spotters at both ends of the run? Do you ever use any of these precautions on your mountain, or is there a "signal" of some sort letting people know the road is in use?
We could, except I don't know anyone who has a two way radio. It's not a public street, so we don't generally worry about traffic, and we leave a signal at the bottom so that other racers know there's a race going on.

Dear Ash:
Why is your mother's hair all crazy? How can it separate at the top, follow down her nose and then curve to the side to join the rest of her hair? Are we talking like massive amounts of hairspray and related items?
I'm not really sure. She was a model for years, so I'm sure she's learned all sorts of tricks.

Dear Ash:
I live in Massachusetts and have an Audi A4 Quattro. I was just wondering, come winter, have you ever gone out on the snow covered roads just to have fun? It's one of the things I look forward to every winter. Nighttime with a fresh snow and few other drivers out is perfect to have a blast!

Oh yeah. All the time. A lot of roads near me dont even get plowed or salted, so we get ice real fast. Some times I'll just spin out for kicks or slide around.

Dear Ash:
Lets see your wimpy little XR4TI (or your bogus Monster XR) take on a real badass car like a Chevy Nova SS or a Pontiac Trans-Am for a change.

Well, in a drag race it would probably beat me. Then again, any idiot in a fast car can go real fast in a straight line. On the mountain, I'd have a pikcnic waiting for it at the bottom, or watch it shoot over the edge of a cliff in my rear view mirror. :P

Dear Ash:
I'll do a fairly simple one, how long did it take you to get used to going into the womens restroom, and do some really have couches?
Get used to it? I'm still not "used" to it, I guess. I never went into the wrong restroom, thankfully. I was too stressed about it to forget at first, and then it became habit, but that's not the same as being "used" to it. As for couches, I've only been to public restrooms at school and in a few restraunts, so I can't really be sure, but none of those had one.

Dear Ash:
If you had the opportunity to be male again for just one day, what would you do?
That's a tough question. For just one day? I'm not sure I'd even WANT a chance like that. It'd be too painful. It'd be like letting a blind person see again and then taking away their sight. It's kind of "all or nothing" for me.

Dear Ash:
It has to be extremely mortifying to wake up one day and find out that you were a girl, but what are all the good qualities of it, if any? Additionally, don't you worry about crashing up in races, like a Worst case scenario?
Well, don't tell Rumisiel, but yeah, it could have been a LOT worse. I mean, I could have been in the fish or cockroach file or something. I do feel lucky that I'm still human after all. And yes, there are definately "good" things about being a girl. I'm sure if I'd been born one I would likely even enjoy it. It's just the shredding of my established identity that's the most painful.
