Dear Ash:
Okay. So we know all about your problem with the misfile--everyone you know treats you differently, sometimes subtly, sometimes significantly, you're
not exactly comfortable with your body or wardrobe, etc, etc...Emily's got a different problem, though. She has to go through two more years of high school she already passed, all her recent accomplishments are undone, probably most of her (now) senior friends don't even know who she is at all,
no more unsupervised R-rated movies, and so on. My question: if you could
trade problems with her would you do it?
Absolutely I'd trade problems with Em. Not to trivialize her problems but I'd much rather re-do two years than be stuck as a girl. Then again, me losing two years would result in me losing less than Emily did.

Dear Ash:
Has there ever been a time when your girl side has ever taken over? Or do you just remain in a male mindset?
There have been some times when I've become more emotional than I thought I ought to be, and physically I tend to stand and sit more closed up sometimes, but I've written the physical stuff off to my self-consciousness. The emotional stuff is probably hormonal, but I have no way to really test it.

Dear Ash:
I was wondering why are you so angry and negative all the time? Maybe you should relax a little? Or are you constantly on a period? Seriously though... it's every guy's dream to have a close pair of breasts, so enjoy it while you can- later you will have a weird experience to say "I have pleanty of reasons to stay a boy". Don't you think?
Take it from someone who really likes boobs: Having your own pair is not all it's cracked up to be. They get in the way, and they can be uncomfortable. Plus they make me really self conscious all the time. As for life experiences, since in theory I wont remember them they're kind of irrelevant.

Dear Ash:
Being a girl and all do you think it would effect your career of being whatever you wanted to be and if so you can always go for modeling.
First, before you go all getting trashy images in your head, I am NEVER going to model. As for the rest of the questions, I don't really HAVE any career aspirations. I've been sort of trying to put that off because I dont know what to do. Always figured I'd cross that bridge when I go to it.

Dear Ash:
Now that you've spent more time as a girl than most men do, would you say the experience thus far has had an effect on the way you see and treat girls?
Not really. Most girls wouldnt hang out with me before. the few that did for class projects and stuff I just treated curtly. They always made me fairly uncomfortable and self conscious.

Dear Ash:
Emily let you borrow her bathing suit for gym. It was pretty revealing. Did you ever find yours? Was it any better?
I found it pretty uncomfortable. It was... how do I put this? It was both TOO revealing and, uh, a bit too tight in the chest. I found some in my closet as well. They all suck, but I needed one for Gym (only twice so far thankfully). I chose the simplest one piece I could find. I suppose I could go shopping for something and maybe find something better, but frankly I really dont feel like shopping for girls clothes.

Dear Ash:
I noticed at one point during your ordeal, you were keeping a journal (Day 3. No sign of Rumisiel. Must find him and kill him. Etc.) You still keeping a journal?
No. I stopped. I also tore up that page. I figured if anyone found it they'd put me in the nut house. Besides, I talk over my problems with Emily usually now, so I don't have to write them down to work through them.
