Dear Ash:
I have an easy ones for you. I realize it has been awhile since your summer vacation came and went, but something has been bugging me. You're not by any definition of the word "comfortable" with a girl's swimsuit and as a girl you can't exactly resort to taking off your shirt to cool off like you could when you were a guy. So how do you go about dealing with higher temperatures as a girl?
It was once said that air conditioning was the pinnacle of human achievement. I'm going to go ahead and agree with that sentiment.

Dear Ash:
My friend and I have an argument over whether it's worse to shave your face or your legs and armpits. Since you've done both, what's your opinion?
There are pros and cons to both. I find shaving my face less comfortable, but if I want to skip, I'd just get the scruffy look. No problem. If I skip on legs and armpits, people notice immediately and think it's gross. On the flip side, I can wear pants to cover up not having shaved my legs. Can't do that with your face.

You know what? They both just kind of suck.

Dear Ash:
Given your recent near-rape encounter, donít you think you should invest in a self-defense item like pepper spray or a taser?
I'm trying not to think about it too much. Carrying a taser might work, but I don't really have anywhere to keel it. That means I'd have to start carrying a purse, and that's just not going to happen. I suppose I could keep it in my backpack, but I only have it at school and I'd probably be expelled for having it there.

Dear Ash:
If you were able to drive one car in the entire world, what would you want to drive?

A Ford GT. It's my dream car.

Dear Ash:
What would happen if one of your files got corrected, but not the
other? Say, some angel happens to find about Emily's missing papers,
and corrects her file so her two years are permanently gone. Would she
forget all about you? Would you forget all about her? Likewise, someone finds your file, corrects the "boy" error, and you're forever stuck as a girl. Would Emily be the only person to remember you used to be a boy? Similarly, what would you do if faced with making a choice between fixing your file, or hers, but not both? Besides killing Rumisiel, that is.

That's pretty much as it has been described to me. Whoever's file was fixed would forget, but the other would still remember. It's looking more like that may happen with Emily considering not changing anything back. If that does happen, I'm hoping maybe I can convince her to look me up after and start things over.

Dear Ash:
Moving on to the question, it's twofold and possbily answered somewhat before. Do you ever think that you'll just accept being a girl one day, considering you're right now looking at the rest of your life being that way (72 years!) Also, if you were to come to terms in accepting your current prediciment, and I mean whole heartedly, then had the chance to change back to how things were, would you? Keep in mind, if we're dealing with the entire misfile situation, you'd proably lose Emily as a friend.

Coming to terms with it I think is definately possible. I do not think, however, that that is the same as "accepting" it. I don't know if that will ever happen. Honestly I hope it does not because I'm not sure that person would even be me anymore.

Dear Ash:
I'm a male-to-female transsexual (in layman's terms, a girl trapped in a guy's body), so I totally understand what you're going through. (Sure, it's the opposite direction, but hey.) I was wondering, have you ever considered "coming out" as a "female-to-male"?

I've thought about it, but I've always been worried about how the files would re-calculate a decision like that when we fix it. Probably not worth the risk at this stage.
