Dear Ash:
Alright, out of all the cars made post 90, what car do you think constitutes as the ugliest and what brings you to that decision?
Without having to think very hard, the Honda Element. It's like they took a bunch of cars they didn't want to make and stuck them together and tried to market it.

Dear Ash:
It occurrs to me that, barring Rumisiel being around, you run the chance of getting asked out by some guy. Are you dreading this moment or prepared for it at all?
Actually, I consider this possibly the one advantage of Rumisiel coming up with that stupid story about us going out. I'm a helluva lot less likely to end up being the target of anyone's misguided affections. Already worked once with Colin.

Dear Ash:
Have you gotten used to seeing a new face in the mirror, and have you gotten used to the sound of your voice yet?
My voice, I suppose I've kind of gotten used to. I hear it all day long in and out, so when I speak I'm not realy suprised by the sound at this point. My face is another story. I look in the mirror, and I still don't see what I expect. I mean, I know what I'm going to see, but I don't have a clear mental image of my face yet and so Isee a sort of stranger inthe mirror. I don't know when I'll get used to that. I sort of hope I never do.

Dear Ash:
     Dear Ash,
REmember when your dad came back and he recognised emily as the girl with no carpet and freckle on the left lip..do you ever think about it..i mean you were a guy...when she's wearing a loose top are you ever tempted to peek?
*Checks to make sure Emily isn't around*
I'll probably get in trouble for saying this eventually... But yes. Yes, I'm temped to peek... Ok, yes, I HAVE peeked, and being in the situation I'm in and desperately wanting people not to do the same I feel bad about it, and yes that's hypocritical of me, but damnit, I'm still a guy inside with guy urges, and I just can't help it.

Dear Ash:
I've got a question for you. I know that in the end you won't remember the whole....girl incident...but it's been a month and I was wondering, if you had the choice would you choose to forget that you ever were turned into a girl, or would you rather remember it all?
Well, so long as I'd be able to change back, at this point I think I'd rather be able to remember everything, though I'm told that's not possible. If I've been through it, unplesant as it may be, I'd rather remember it than simply have those memories overwritten. I mean, that's kind of living a lie, right? Still, I don't forsee it as an obstacle to the choice of turning back. It would just be a nice option to have during what I hope is an eventuality.

Dear Ash:
Emily let you borrow her bathing suit for gym. It was pretty revealing. Did you ever find yours? Was it any better?
Yeah. I'm grateful to Emily for that, but it's not a suit I ever want to wear again. Since then I've brought my own suit that I found inthe closet. There were three two pieces which I left at home and a simple one piece which I've worn on the two occasions I've had to swim in gym since then. While technically less reavealing, they're still just as embarrassing. They are a bit less tight in the bust area though. I've toyed with the idea of buying another. I've been told there are some that are a bit more "shorts" like on the bottom, but I'm still a bit hesitant about shopping in the women's department.

Dear Ash:
I was wondering how many different courses are used besides the Old Road for the area racers. Is there an age distribution or class? Meaning- do teens race only themselves or are races based on a ranking? Who's the oldest racer in the area?
Well, there's sort of one big course consisting of three parts. Usually we race downhill (though not always) so I'll start with the top section. Known generally as the upper road, the first section of the course is a lightly winding road consisting of sections that are both farily flat and of a light downhill grade. This is generally where beginners train. In full course races it also serves as a good warmup before the 2nd section. The upper road is about 2 miles in length. The middle section is affectionately known as "The Gauntlet". It's the toughest part of the whole hill and is almost entirely steep downhill grades and hairpin corners. On a night with a lot of races, the course is usually reduced to this two mile stretch . The last single mile of the course is as steep as the gauntlet, but has fewer hair pins (only 3) and longer straighaways. So overall, the road we run is a brisk five miles.

Generally there is an age distribution. Most racers are in highschool. Anyone can challege anyone, but "King of the Mountain" is a title reserved for the fastest racer from the 3 nearby highschools only. the "King" effectively gives up their title when they graduate. I'm not really sure who the oldest racer is, since we don't generally ask. There are a few guys who come by on occasion who are at least in their 30's. They're generally testing their cars more than "racing" per se though.
