Finally was able to order new glasses after 6 years in the old ones. I get them for a day and I can't wear them. They are causing pain around my nose and under my eyes. Its the base curve, they tell me. Ok they order new lens's again. Another 2 weeks. Then Monday they are in. Whoot. I get them put them on and leave. 30 mins into the pain starts again. I think its me getting used to them. I wake up on Tue, put them on and by Noon I am dying. I have taken Advil, and I called to ask why. They say come in. I run over at lunch and they move the nose piece and send me home. More and more pain. By 8pm I am back in my old glasses. I go Wed morning, and they use pliers to move around the nose pieces scratching off most of the paint! THEY ARE NEW.. and now they look like crap. No go still hurts.. So they take those pads off and replace them with the old ones from my old glasses. Tell me to get rid of the pain and try again. ok Its 8am fine. Noon I put the new sexy glasses with the scratched off paint on, and guess what it hurts. I call back and she says she will contact the dr. She calls back and says the dr does not think it is the glasses, but an infection. WHAT?? A sinus infection that only effects me when I wear one specific pair of new glasses. WOW, thats one hell of a infection. I tell her, no I want to see the dr. So I go on Monday so they can tell me I am nutz again. Anyone ever feel like you are tossing money out the window. Glasses are not cheap, and I can't wear the ones I spent $400 on. URGH.. I am so upset I want to puke.
