Sometimes I feel like having kids really drains me creatively. I used to just sit around and let my mind wander into story ideas. Now I'm on high alert status all day keeping them out of things. When they finally go to bed, instead of thinking up new ideas, all I want to do is shut down and relax in a pool of nothingness. It leaves me feeling rather creatively bankrupt some times.
