So it seems like Patreon's plan to put all creators out of business is 1: Push their service so hard that creators move all their income streams to it at the loss of other sources of revenue. 2: Change their policy so radically that all patrons jump ship leaving all creators without revenue suddenly one month 3: Admit this will happen but refuse to change policy 4: Sit back and watch creative people close down their projects because they suddenly can't afford to be in business.
Yes, I am currently shopping for alternatives to Patreon: To any venture capitalists out there, this would be the perfect time to launch one. For the time being I am still using it. I mean, seriously, what can I do? I need it to pay my bills.
